The Makeover Studio School of Make-up provide courses for those looking to train and practice as a make-up artist on a commercial basis. Whether you would like to specialise in bridal and special occasion or photographic and fashion we provide you with relevant information and background knowledge to enable you to follow a fulfilling and professional training path leading to recognised certificates.

We offer a variety of intensive, short, one day and distance learning courses along with flexible learning opportunities. Our cosmetic make-up foundation course is for newcomers to the industry which is also a great refresher for those who have been away from the industry for some time. Our Bridal and Event Make-up Specialist Certificate covers brides, mother of the bride, bridesmaids, black tie occasions and alternative looks for contemporary events. For those looking for a broader range of skills we run media, photographic and fashion makeup courses and a Complete Make-up Artist Diploma programme as a fast track flexible learning course.

Attendance based courses keep class sizes to a maximum of six and consist of both theoretical discussions and live demonstrations, with emphasis placed upon practical work and portfolio development. To meet with current professional standards, all intensive courses require a training portfolio and case studies to be completed (with tutor guidance) for assessment prior to professional certificate award.

Training is provided by the school principal and director of training Tina Elliott-Hunt, a professional, commercially active media make-up artist who openly shares fifteen years industry experience and expert knowledge with her students.
