Professional hair stylists have been told that autumn is all about curls.
WalletPop recently spoke to some of the top trend-setters in the business and found out exactly what style women should be asking for next season, with soft and textured locks being on trend.
Billy Lowe, Los Angeles-based celebrity hairstylist and beauty expert, explained that the must-have look for autumn is unstructured and stars such as Sandra Bullock are leading the way in the style stakes.
"Look for continued soft, tousled curl around the neck and shoulders ... [and] more attention to 'careless' hair," he suggested to the news provider.
Another expert named Oribe, added that this style will also mean that that clients' hair will therefore get a welcome break from the straighteners, which in turn will mean a kinder season all round.
The top styles for autumn, according to Elle, are the fishtail braid with volumous locks on top and a thick choppy fringe, as seen on Katy Perry.
