Professional makeup artists will be pleased to know Beverley Knight will be launching her new makeup range.
Named K and designed for black and Asian skin tones, the star told ASOS magazine that she has been involved in every aspect of developing the range and her goal is make sure that everyone has a colour that works for them.
She told the magazine that more people realised how little there was on the market for darker skin when black and Asian models hit the catwalks, but there is still not enough.
"I would like to see more products available across the price ranges," she said.
The products on offer for professional makeup artists include a light coverage oil-free foundation at £22, contouring blusher at £14 and Intensive Lipstick in a variety of delightful shades at £11.
Ms Knight, who shot to fame with songs such as Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Come As You Are, also admitted that her family friends were the guinea pigs for the products.
