Chanel's summer make-up collection is 'joyful'
Chanel's summer make-up collection is 'joyful' Professional make-up artists tend to eagerly await the release of Chanel's new collections and the summer range has been praised by one reviewer.

Sinead Van Kampen, writing for the Irish Independent, said that the French fashion label's latest collection is a "full swatch of joyful candy pop colours", which will no doubt be music to the ears of professional make-up artists.

There is also a nod to last season's nude trend, with palettes for eyes and cheeks being "soft and refined", Ms Van Kampen said.

Among the colours on offer are ochre and dusted pinks for summer eyes and soft browns for bronzing, she continued.

"The collection should suit all occasions from weddings to wearing at work," Ms Van Kampen said.

Burberry recently announced that it is to launch its first make-up range, with chief executive Christopher Bailey telling WWD.com that the collection will take inspiration from the label's iconic piece, the trench coat.
