As make-up artists will know, different beauty products are needed for various seasons.
With the weather heating up its time to stock up on items in lighter, more vivid colours and products that will stay put on client's faces when it gets hot.
Elsa McAlonan, former editor of Woman's Own, wrote for the Daily Mail that a good product to buy is Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place ShadowCremes, which come in nine shades.
She said: "The formula gives good coverage which won’t crease, and lasts up to 15 hours. Gold Dust, Buttercream and Cafe Au Lait are very flattering colours for all ages."
Sticking with the eyes, she added that L’Oreal Paris Lash Architect 4D Mascara is a worthwhile product to buy and gives long-lasting "instant results".
Ms McAlonan also recommended trying one of the five colours of Paul & Joe Eye Gloss Duo, saying that 04, Bourgeoisie was the most neutral shade of the lot.
Earlier this month, the beauty expert also said that ladies can keep clients looking fresh-faced and bronzed this summer with Caudalie Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Fluid, SPF 15, which reduces dark spots and makes skin look more radiant.
