Dark eyes key upcoming trend, says professional make-up artist
Dark eyes key upcoming trend, says professional make-up artist Dark eyes will be one of the key trends for the coming season and various interpretations of the look will be seen, according to a professional make-up artist.

Wendy Rowe told Grazia magazine that another big beauty movement is the dishevelled look.

She said that dark eyes will be a major fashion feature this coming season, but the smoky look will not be made to feel like a "big deal".

"It really doesn't need to be a full lid, it can be an outline and give the impression of a strong eye without going the full monty," the professional make-up artist explained.

As for her favourite products at the moment, she named Bobbi Brown's Eye Brightener and Vitamin Rich Face Base.

Professional make-up artists have been loving the grunge look of late, with the slept-in, Kate Moss-esque style swamping the catwalks at New York Fashion Week.

Shows by Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra and Rag & Bone all featured the distressed, dishevelled look.
