Make-up artists can celebrate US Independence Day today (July 4th) by getting their hands on a range of denim-inspired products.
Sophia Panych, associate editor of Allure.com, wrote for the beauty bible that blue jeans are a US staple and that ladies can never have too many beauty products inspired by denim.
She recommended trying Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Skinny Jeans.
"Softer than black, with subtle hints of bronze shimmer, it looks beautiful with blue eyes, and your blue jeans," she added.
In addition, the beauty guru recommended that make-up artists try Bobbi Brown Denim & Rose Face Palette, which features both matte and shimmery eyeshadows, as well as bold and more subtle lip colours.
Ms Panych also recommended NP Set Denim Set, a palette that has eyeshadows, as well as products for lips and cheeks.
In 2009, one celebrity who appeared to have been inspired by the US celebration was Tina Fey, who appeared on the front cover of Vanity Fair with red lips to match the US flag she was holding.
