Dry shampoo has a 'resurgence'
Dry shampoo has a 'resurgence' A beauty expert has recently revealed that dry shampoo has experienced something of a resurgence.

Merle Brown, a former fashion editor of the Daily Record and editor of the 5pm Health and Beauty Blog, said that the product used to be viewed as old fashioned but has now become more popular, with lots of companies launching their own versions of it.

"Because of the big trend for big hair, it is obviously easier to achieve when it's dirty - so using dry shampoo helps, as dry shampoo adds volume to hair," she told make-up artists.

Ms Brown pointed out that using dry shampoo is a more sophisticated way of achieving this effect, which people used to use talcum powder for.

Some dry shampoo products currently on the market include Evo water Kilelr Dry Shampoo, Batiste Fresh Dry Shampoo, and Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo, which is scented with lemon verbena.

In addition, ladies may want to follow the example of actress Tia Mowry, who told Bet.com that she uses Ojon Rub Out dry cleaner spray.
