Elle magazine has named its beauty picks for the new season, which professional make-up artists may want to get their hands on.
Amy Lawrenson, web beauty assistant at the publication, said the "nail hue du jour" for the coming months is any shade of pastel, aside from the greige colour which is bound to be big.
She picked out three Illamasqua shades, Nudge Caress and Blow, which are a "buttery yellow", "powdery blue" and "soft mint".
Meanwhile, Susannah Edwards, beauty intern at the magazine, suggested that the professional make-up artist will not want to be without Eylure's Hestia false lashes.
"These Cleopatra-inspired lashes are adorned with a strip of gold leaf and have a row of sparkly sapphire jewels along the outside edge," she explained, saying they had "real wow-factor".
Another product that the keen professional make-up artist may want to get their hands on is Estee Lauder's new Hollywood Color Collection, which has been created by American designer Michael Kors.
