Glossy locks a big trend, says professional hair stylist
Glossy locks a big trend, says professional hair stylist Glossy locks are a major trend for hair this coming season, according to a professional hair stylist.

Charles Worthington told Marie Claire that tresses should be "full of vitality" at the moment and have a high-maintenance feel.

Leigh Lezark, the face of the professional hair stylist's new range, Front Row, confirmed this.

"I want shiny, groomed hair, especially when I go to the shows in New York and London," she told the magazine.

Among the techniques which are likely to employed this year to produce this high-maintenance, luxurious feel are statement cuts, big blow-drys and ornamental hair accessories, according to Mr Worthington.

The professional hair stylist said that a good blow-dry helps to add volume and shine as well as instantly transforming locks so that they are glossy and groomed.

Jules Holland, creative director at Mark Hill Salon, recently said that the big and bouncy blow-dry is very popular at the moment due to Cheryl Cole's adoption of the style.
