Have you heard of the 'Coppola craze'?
Have you heard of the 'Coppola craze'? Professional hair stylists have been told of a new phenomenon – the 'Coppola cut'.

Alison Tyler, writing for the Daily Mail, explained that a professional hair stylist named Also Coppola has inspired a new cut that is reportedly taking the world by storm, from Russia and Italy to France.

Ms Tyler went for one of these innovative cuts, which she described as a man named Oscar buzzing "around my head with wild abandon", but admitted that the feeling of putting your hair in someone else's hands was somewhat liberating.

"He twists large sections and then boldy snips into them with scissors – seemingly at random," she explained, adding that the cut does not go for the neck line, as most traditional salons do, but the hairdresser aims for the top of the head.

However, despite her ordeal, Ms Tyler explains that the manic cutting still looks good: "Two months on, the cut is still looking fresh, so there must be some method to his madness".

Another phenomenon, but this time on the red carpet, is the pixie summer crop, as sported by Michelle Williams and Hayden Panetierre.
