Ladies who work in the beauty industry will be interested to hear of the latest celebrity to sign up to front a line of cosmetics.
It has recently been announced that Hugh Laurie is now the face of L'Oreal Men Expert products, adding to the ranks of famous males on the company's books, like Patrick Dempsey and Gerard Butler.
Laurie said: "At first I thought it was a mistake, but then I realised that L'Oreal wasn't looking for models but for people with strong personalities, who are worth it...and who aren't afraid to proclaim that using cosmetics can be a very masculine decision after all."
Cyril Chapuy, L'oreal Paris' global brand president, also expressed his pleasure at the signing, saying that Laurie is a fine example of a modern man as he is strong, genuine and uninhibited.
Make-up artists will be interested to hear that the L'Oreal line contains a range of products, such as Pure and Matte Scrub, Hydra Energetic Daily Moisturising Lotion and Hydra Energetic Eye Roll-On.
