Jackie O inspires professional make-up artist at LFW
Jackie O inspires professional make-up artist at LFW While neutral shades have been the stand-out look of London Fashion Week (LFW), professional make-up artists have also been combining statement lips and bold brows for a "sophisticated urban" style.

Professional make-up artist Pat McGrath, global creative design director for Max Factor, created the look for the Issa show and told The Sun that Jackie Onassis was the inspiration for the doe-eyed, plum-hued lip effect.

She went for 60s style eyes with a thick sweep of liner across the lid, used to extend and enhance the eye shape.

Ms McGrath told the newspaper that she used two mascaras to create maximum effect with the lashes, applying Max Factor Lash Extension Effect as the base then False Lash Effect Mascara for volume.

The professional make-up artist also used a pale liner on the inner, lower lid to illuminate eye whites.

Bobbi Brown also recently highlighted the popularity of the bold brow look, telling the Daily Mail that she expects it to remain a big trend for 2010.
