Professional make up artists could learn a thing or two from Jennifer Connelly. Most forty plus women could not pull off purple eyeliner, but the actress defied convention and wore it to stunning effect.
Jennifer’s eyeliner contrasted brilliantly with her aquamarine eyes when she attended the recent Toronto International Film Festival.
The Blood Diamond actress combined the eyeliner with muted make up to really make her eyes stand out. She applied more eyeliner to the bottom than the top of her eye and went for a swept back up-do for her hair, which complemented the look.
A Glamour.com reader praised her make up. She said: "It looks really cool because the bottom purple really stands out and the top is more subtle and blended in."
Professional make up artists can achieve a similar look with Rimmel’s Exaggerate Eyeliner and Sephora’s Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner.
