Ladies use beauty products that are 'out of date'
Ladies use beauty products that are 'out of date' Make-up artists may be interested to hear that almost three-quarters of ladies have confessed to using beauty products that are out of date.

MyVoucherCodes.co.uk questioned more than 1,000 women about these items.

Respondents who answered "yes" when asked if they knowingly used products that were out of date were also asked to estimate the age of the oldest item in their beauty regime.

Two-thirds of those asked then answered 24 months.

Of those who used out of date products, 67 per cent specifically used eye liner, 61 per cent nail varnish and 58 per cent blusher.

A further 54 per cent said that used out of date perfume, 49 per cent lipstick, 45 per cent moisturiser and 41 per cent eyeshadow.

Mark Pearson, chairman of the website, said: "It is interesting to see that so many women use beauty products that have gone out of date, however, it is understandable as many of the items on the list wouldn't be cheap to replace."

However, as make-up artists know, people should pay attention to expiration dates.

Recently, Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, has spoken about how she favours beauty products that smell "fresh".

She said that this is why she likes the vanilla body lotion in her Material Girl line, People reported.
