Lady Gaga 'will continue to influence beauty trends' Makeup artists may be interested to hear about the celebrities most likely to influence cosmetic trends in 2012.

According to freelance beauty editor of Kissandmakeup.tv Zara Stone Rabinowicz, "individual style" is set to be a key theme this year.

She noted that singers Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are likely to continue dominating the beauty scene, while pop star newcomers Little Mix from X Factor will also garner attention.

"It is going to be an interesting year for celebrities as we are going to see an increased focus on new faces," Ms Rabinowicz stated.

For the mature lady, actresses such as Elizabeth Hurley and Amanda Seyfried were noted as likely to be "role models", following their appearances in Gossip Girl and In Time respectively.
