Lancome's latest mascara reviewed
Lancome's latest mascara reviewed With full lashes being a top trend at the moment, professional make-up artists are no doubt on the lookout for the best mascaras on the market.

Elle magazine has reviewed some of the new mascaras for 2010, many of which claim to produce a false-lash effect.

First up is Lancome's Hypnose Precious Cells mascara, which promises to make lashes feel stronger and look denser and fuller, as though multiplied.

Kat Webster, picture editor at the magazine, said that the mascara enhanced the length of lashes without clogging and the small brush allowed her to get right to the root of the lashes for a real lift.

However, it was not all positive. "The brush felt a bit flimsy, I am usually drawn to a larger wand and the results weren't as dramatic as I like," she said.

Her final verdict was that the mascara was good for everyday use, but professional make-up artists may want to go for a more dramatic product.

Lancome has been something of a visionary when it comes to mascara, launching Oscillation in 2008 with a battery-operated, vibrating wand.
