Make up artists offered 70s make up tips
Make up artists offered 70s make up tips This season it's all about the 70s, and make up artists have been offered some top tips on how to create a look to complement this retro trend.

As highlighted in the fashion trend report from the Daily Telegraph, designers firmly gave a nod to the 70s in their spring/summer collections, from flared trousers to floppy hats.

Marc Jacobs chose a palette of fuchsia, violet and honeysuckle, and experience tells wherever he goes the high street will follow.

Sarah Jagger from beautyexpert.tv told those hoping to become a professional makeup artist, the first place to start creating this retro look is with a metallic eye shadow, recommending Chanel's liquid metallic eye shadows as a good product to try.

From there, a charcoal eye shadow, "like M?A?C's Paint Pot in black", should be applied to the crease and around the lower lashes.

To complete the look, Ms Jagger advised: "Team with a soft coral lipstick like Estee Lauder spiced coral and keep the blush to a minimum - if anything, opt for a subtle peach blush like Giorgio Armani sheer blush N.3." ADNFCR-2992-ID-800549649-ADNFCR
