Make-up artists will be interested to hear that a number of stars have tried out the current trend for tasselled heels.
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively attended an event wearing a white and silver dress with cap sleeves, which she teamed with a black bag and white, gold and black heeled shoes with tassels.
She also wore her blonde hair loose, sporting drop earrings and subtle make-up, which only appeared to include a pinky-red lipstick, blusher and mascara.
Meanwhile, co-star Jessica Szohr went for an all black outfit at an event, opting for a low-cut LBD with dramatic peep-toe heels that had tassels.
Ms Szohr also painted her toenails red for the occasion and wore her dark hair straightened and with a cute fringe.
Make-up artists have been told that Kristen Bell also tried the trend out too, but opted for a slinky blue dress and strappy, patterned heels with tassels.
However, People.com reader's who saw the three ladies sporting the trend did not appear too impressed with the look. Over 60 per cent said that they would not try out tasselled heels themselves.
In addition, the tassel trend has been worn by Natalie Portman, who sported a pair of mauve tassel earrings for the Oscars to match a dress she wore in the same shade.
