A key make up trend this season is matte, the Mirror has reported.
A flat, shine-free, matte look on skin, lips and nails is set to be one of this autumn's must-have looks.
The news source recommended that make up school students buy Amie Morning Dew Matte-Finish Moisturiser, which is available from John Lewis and Boots. This product will hydrate the skin without making it appear shiny.
Foundation, such as Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse, should then be applied to a client's face using the fingertips. Powder may also be added to give the skin more of a matte appearance.
Make up school students may also want to go for this season's matte violet eyeshadow on client's eyelids. Try Urban Decay's Matte Eyeshadow in Purple Haze or Clinique's Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte in Stone Violet.
Those who want to extend the matte trend beyond the face can opt for non-shiny nail polish.
Celebrities such as Katy Perry and Rihanna have all been spotted with this season's matte make up.
