Marilyn Monroe continues to be an inspiration in the fashion world, with professional make-up artist Polly Osmond most recently paying homage to the style icon.
She told Elle magazine: "It's almost as a teenager would interpret a Marilyn look."
"The collection is geared toward the younger market and is full of light silky fabrics and pops of pink," she added.
Ms Osmond used a light foundation, and dusted translucent powder over the skin for a matte finish and swept a blush across the apples of cheeks.
The professional make-up artist told the magazine that she went for Marilyn-like eyeliner in brown instead of black so it was not so heavy.
She also mixed concealer with pink lipstick, to make it thicker and paler for a bubblegum pout.
Someone else who draws inspiration from Marilyn Monroe is Scarlett Johansson, who has praised professional make-up artist Pat McGrath and hair stylist Oribe for their work on Dolce & Gabbana's adverts for its new make-up collection.
