Pat McGrath, Tom Pecheux and Gucci Westman have been named in a list of the top professional make-up artists working around the world.
Linda Ripoll, writing for Styleite, said that McGrath was the go-to girl for all things high fashion and beauty.
"McGrath can go from creating sun-kissed dewy faces for Chloe to avant garde geisha-inspired lips for Dior that scream haute couture," she commented.
Born and bred in Northampton, she is a "true innovator" and a "beauty trendsetter", according to the writer. McGrath went for a modern twist in the classic red lip for Dolce & Gabbana's Milan show.
Pecheux, meanwhile, is a professional make-up artist with exquisite technique, to whom the world of beauty owes much, Ms Ripoll said.
Although Westman has reduce her workload since giving birth to her son, she is still one of the top editorial make-up artists in the world, known for creating looks that convey sensuality.
