Next season will see 'huge focus' on lashes
Next season will see 'huge focus' on lashes A beauty expert has revealed future make-up trends that ladies may want to try.

Make-up artist Jules Cardozo-Marsh said that next season will see a huge focus on lashes.

She pointed out that Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Dior have both used models styled with exaggerated 'Bambi-style' lashes on the catwalk, whose lashes gave a feminine, flirty and playful look.

Ms Cardozo-Marsh said that make-up artists will start to create everything from "ultra-feminine, sweeping finishes" to "thick, glittering show-girl lashes".

However, she cautioned that whatever lashes people go for they should make sure that they look naturally preened, expensive and sophisticated.

She said: "Avoid the cheap, plastic-looking effect and go for lash extensions that naturally enhance your own lashes for an undetectable finish."

The beauty guru recommended trying 007 Lash Extensions, as she said that these are so fine that make-up artists can add as many as four separate fake eyelashes onto one real eyelash.

Ms Cardozo-Marsh has styled models for a number of glossy magazines, including Hair, and ladies for fashion shows and awards ceremonies.
