Nude look gets professional make-up artist seal of approval
Nude look gets professional make-up artist seal of approval The natural look is here to stay after professional make-up artists used it for autumn/winter 2009 shows, sealing it as a major trend for this year.

Charlotte Tilbury, professional make-up artist at Chloe, told Elle magazine, that the look involves layering products to create a flawless, polished complexion that appears bare but chic at the same time.

"Taupe and rose tones work well," she told the news provider, adding that oyster and gold were used to "highlight down the nose and around the temples".

Elle magazine's Georgia Collins also explained that professional make-up artists working on the autumn/winter catwalk shows "buffed sheer tints and gossamer-fine powders into well-prepped skin, creating contours and highlights with veils of natural colour".

Products by the likes of Prescriptives, Laura Mercier, L'Oreal, Lancome, MAC and Shu Uemura were used to create these natural looks.

Professional make-up artist Napoleon Perdis has also told the Huffington Post that nude glamour will be one of the favourite looks for Valentine's Day.
