Ladies who are looking to change their client's hair may want to suggest that they go for platinum blonde locks, which are currently on-trend.
Jonathan Long, co-founder of Lockonego.com, said that at the present time there's something of a 1950s revival going on, with Marilyn Monroe being particularly influential.
Mr Long pointed out that modern celebrities, such as Lady Gaga, are also paving the way for platinum locks to continue to be popular and that she has been influenced by Madonna and Monroe.
"The popular and multi-award winning TV show, Mad Men, has spawned a trend of its own and bolstered the revival. We’re getting a new TV programme called The Hour over in the UK soon, which is also set in the 1950s, in a newsroom, and no doubt you'll see more platinum blondes in that," he said.
In addition, Bruno Elorrioroz, Aveda's advanced technical director, told the Independent that white blonde hair looks "pure and angelic" and particularly good during summer months.
