People who administer beauty treatments may find that more guys are coming to them for eyebrow plucking, with younger guys heading to salons.
Salon owner Michelle Shea told the Halifax Courier that the taboo around eyebrow plucking or threading for guys is disappearing, meaning more are opting for the beauty treatments.
She added that guys tend to bring their friends on return visits, coming back time and time again.
However, Ms Shea said that it is one of the most painful beauty treatments for men, adding: "Male brows tend to be thicker than female brows so it can smart to begin with however the treatment is speedy and efficient, leaving you with a brow to wow."
She added that celebs are fuelling the trend and a recent poll by Debenhams found that the most requested brow shapes are Russell Brand, Robert Pattinson and David Beckham's.
Sara Stern, director of cosmetic merchandising at the department store said that the monobrow will soon be a thing of the past and dark, strong brows will be created in the beauty treatments.
