Professional hair stylist: Length and texture key to spring looks
Professional hair stylist: Length and texture key to spring looks Long, luscious locks with plenty of waves and texture will be a top trend for this spring and summer, a professional hair stylist has predicted.

Carol Cini, co-owner of the Taz hair salon in Toronto, told Canwest News Service that the style goes hand-in-hand with fashions at the moment, as lots of layers in clothing and playful looks are favoured.

"Women are going really long, with lots of waves and lots of texture," she explained.

The professional hair stylist said that even at shorter lengths, the look is more playful. Mop top styles will replace same-length, standard pixie crops.

Colour is going more pure and organic, she added.

"There's definitely a movement toward natural tones, as opposed to brighter tones. It's the idea of enhancing your colour rather than changing it," she explained to the news provider.

Professional hair stylists working on shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris, meanwhile, have helped to bring the dual-textured style to the forefront of fashion recent weeks.
