Professional hair stylist predicts return to 90s cuts
Professional hair stylist predicts return to 90s cuts A return to the 90s will be seen this spring with short cuts and bobs becoming popular, according to a professional hair stylist.

Jonathan Soons, art team director at leading salon chain Headmasters, told My Fashion Life that he expects 20s-style bobs to become popular once more, as they were in the 90s.

The professional hair stylist said that there will be a move towards deep, dark colours, with old-school crops a la Mary Quant, gamine styles and big Cleopatra fringes all being favoured.

"Early 90s grunge looks will feature too – think Kurt Cobain's mussed-up locks or see Alexa Chung for current inspiration," Mr Soons told the news provider.

The beautiful, healthy wave has not disappeared however, according to celebrity stylist and colourist Frank Barbosa.

Professional hair stylist Orlando Pita recently told Vogue magazine that trends are moving away from highly-groomed dos towards more natural shapes.
