Romantic, feminine hair with soft curls and waves is going to be a top trend for spring, according to a professional hair stylist.
Melissa Tinker told The Olympian that the style had emerged as a result of fashions, with the likes of floral prints and pastel colours inspiring girly cuts.
"The mid-length, shoulder-skimming curls are really a fresh idea to change the smooth and low-volume looks we had this winter," professional hair stylist Graham Ross added.
He told the news provider that he expected to see "lots of chopped-out layers, but very soft and very sexy".
Professional hair stylist Eric Fisher also told the news provider that 60s styles were back, with the likes of old-fashioned wedges and cable curls being popular.
Meanwhile, Akin Konizi, international creative director of Hob salons, who was British Hairdresser of the Year in 2008 and 2009, has told the Metro that hair trends are all about texture this season.
