Professional hair stylists champion anti-do movement
Professional hair stylists champion anti-do movement Red carpet looks are moving away from the highly groomed dos to more natural shapes, according to professional hair stylist Guido Palau.

He told Vogue magazine that there is "something in the air" which is prompting designers and celebrities alike to go for more organic styles.

His comments echo a similar sentiment expressed by professional hair stylist Orlando Pita, who told the magazine that he was going for an anti-stylised look for the Carolina Herrera show.

"Red carpet looks are too overdone now and I thought it would be a refreshing change to contrast elaborate clothes with simple hair," he said.

Meanwhile, professional hair stylist Onto Souleiman, who has been tending to the locks of Narciso Rodriguez models for the past ten years, said he and Rodriguez were aiming for "perfection but in an understated way".

The look could trickle down to the high street fairly soon if celebrities start adopting the organic look.

Jules Holland, creative director at Mark Hill Salon, recently identified that celebrities are sparking hair trends at the moment.
