Professional hair stylists have been treated to one of the latest styles to hit the catwalk, which is due to take the hairdressing world by storm.
According to Elle, Eva Mendes has stepped out giving us the first glimpse of a trend-setting ponytail – the 1950s-inspirted Louis Vuitton hair.
The star, who seems to be at the forefront of fashion of late, looked her usual gorgeous self when she was spotted at the New York premiere of her latest flick, The Other Guys, wearing a silver and cream dress and a diamond hair piece clipped to the bobble.
Eva pipped every other A-lister to the post with this style, according to the news provider, which explained that the look was a prominent one on the autumn/winter 2010 catwalk at the Vuitton show.
"It was all about luxury and decadence," according to L'Oreal hair stylist Malcolm Edwards, speaking about the show earlier this year.
Eva was recently spotted out with an elegant top knot complete with a sweeping fringe which was praised by the press.
