Professional hair stylists looking for new ideas for clients may want to try the 'lob', otherwise known as a long bob.
This style has recently been spotted on Olivia Palermo and Kate Bosworth, the Daily Telegraph reported. The news source pointed out that the trend began on the catwalk and is simple to achieve.
Celebrity hairstylist Neil Moodie, who has worked at London Fashion Week, told the newspaper that people are going for this style in droves, as they do not have to have their hair shorter than they would like but can still test out having a bob.
"There's something so chic about hair that's completely all one length without any layers, which in turn means light reflects much better so the hair looks ultra-glossy," he said.
In addition, this style is described as "hassle-free", as it can grow out without losing its shape and looks good on women with a variety of different face shapes, professional hair stylists were told.
Another celebrity who has recently gone for this look is Jennifer Aniston, who stepped out with the new style at the premier of her film Just Go With It in Madrid.
