Professional hair stylists told of retro hair revival
Professional hair stylists told of retro hair revival Professional hair stylists have been told that retro hair styles are now big news.

"The revival of retro hair is very much a reflection on the current trends in fashion at the moment," Jonathan Long, co-founder of boutique hair salon, Lockonego, said.

He added that this can be seen on the runways, where models are sporting the glamorous, super feminine waves seen on Mad Men.

In addition, Mr Long told professional hair stylists that this look is set to stay popular for a while, as it lets women appear feminine and exude sex appeal in the face of changing fashion trends.

Ladies who go for this look will also know that they're in good company. Lily Allen recently wore retro bouffant hair to the Chanel autumn/winter 2011 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.

In addition, the vintage inspired style has also been spotted on a number of other celebrities, including Jessica Szohr and Kelly Osborne, according to Look magazine.
