Professional hair stylists told of straightened trend
Professional hair stylists told of straightened trend The end of the summer will see demand for tousled, air-dried beach waves being replaced by a hankering for straight locks, according to an expert.

Professional hair stylist Ted Gibson told Elle.com that the autumn trend will come as relief to the hair, which gets put through a lot of stress during the summer months.

"It's making a comeback," he told the news source, highlighting the sleek styles which he crafted for autumn 2010 on behalf of Vena Cava and J Mendel.

His words were backed up by hairdresser Garren, who told the Elle website that silky and shiny is the way forward over the coming months.

"After centre-parting hair and blowing it dry, we used a pressing iron … To maintain movement and volume iron more hair at a time, versus less," it advised.

One star who showed off the straight hair trend this week was Amber le Bon, according to GraziaDaily.co.uk's Best Dressed feature.ADNFCR-2992-ID-19909046-ADNFCR
