Professional make-up artist brings caramel contouring to LFW
Professional make-up artist brings caramel contouring to LFW We've had the natural look and now the caramel, sculpted finish is appearing on the London Fashion Week (LFW) catwalks thanks to professional make-up artists.

MAC Cosmetics' Makky created this effect for models in the Nicole Farhi show, continuing the less-is-more approach to make-up which has been seen in the capital.

"The look is about beautiful [skin and] sculpting, contouring and shading," the professional make-up artist told WWD.com.

"There is makeup but the colour is for sculpting. It's very caramel," Makky added.

He used MAC Cream Colour Base in Sepia on the eyes, cheeks and lips, according to the news provider.

The skin was given a matte finish with a touch of highlighter on the cheekbones, while the inner rim of the eyes was stroked with an off-white liner.

This sculptured look follows the natural, minimalistic styles adopted by professional make-up artists working on Matthew Williamson and Julian Macdonald's LFW shows.
