Professional make-up artist brings grunge to Marc Jacobs
Professional make-up artist brings grunge to Marc Jacobs Bed head hair and smudgy eyes were a key look for the Marc Jacobs show at New York Fashion Week, as created by professional make-up artist Francois Nars.

The grunge look has been taking New York by storm and it seems that the washed-out, slept-in, tomboy style of the 90s is back with a bang.

"This look is what you'd see on a girl from the East Village or St Germain des Pres - an existentialist with a modern twist," said Nars founder and creative director of Nars Cosmetics.

The professional make-up artist used Nars sheer glow foundation and enchanted blush - a product which is new for summer 2010 - on the faces of the Marc Jacobs girls.

For the eyes he went with the D.Gorgeous Single Eye Shadow, also new for spring 2010, Black Moon eyeliner pencil and Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo, as well as Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara.
