Professional make-up artists: Go for sunset-themed eyes
Professional make-up artists looking to create the perfect look for summer should note the latest trend to hit the runway, which is designing a sunset theme using gold eyeshadow.

The beach was the subject of the evening at the Diane Von Furstenburg spring 2010 show and the make-up went in the same direction, with a natural 'sunset' look matching the ethnic swimwear.

James Kaliardos, the make-up artist who created the look, said he wanted to achieve a sunset theme with sheer and glittery blush and gold and copper eyelids.

"The eyelid is gold and the outer edge of the eye socket is copper, which flows into a fuchsia cheek," he said.

With nude lips and barely-there blush, the rest of the look was kept clean and simple with a few lashings of mascara to add emphasis to the eye and a matching gold hairpiece to finish off the look.

Aside from the swimwear, ethnic bold prints were the theme of the evening, in a variety of colours, including blues, browns and yellows.ADNFCR-2992-ID-19806902-ADNFCR
