Professional make-up artists informed of X Factor stars' new looks People with make-up artist jobs may want to take inspiration from a magazine photoshoot with some of the X Factor's female stars, where the women were made under.

Cher Lloyd, Katie Waissel and Rebecca Ferguson were given new looks for a feature in Grazia magazine.

Ms Waissel wore a sequined dress by Ashish Gupta, teamed with a sparkly headband and her locks drawn back into a voluminous up do. Her eyebrows appeared heavily coloured in and her eye makeup was a soft brown shade.

Singer Ms Ferguson opted for a ruffled creation by Felicity Brown. She also had a nude face, which allowed all attention to be drawn to her dark, plum-coloured lips.

Ms Lloyd abandoned her usual heavy foundation and false eyelashes for a more understated look making her appear far younger. The star also wore an outfit by Henry Holland.

She said: "They understated make-up isn't me but I'm going to roll with it."

Fans will know that Ms Lloyd, Ms Waissel and Ms Ferguson are all being mentored by Cheryl Cole.
