The latest trend to take the female population by storm is extra long lashes, but professional make-up artists should not be fooled; the women of today are wanting the length but do not want to go fake.
Stylist's Samantha Freedman explained that since lash bars in Tokyo started popping up, the nation is all a flutter with something called lash conditioning, which apparently gives women natural length to die for.
"You wouldn't skimp on hair conditioner, so why not consider your eyelashes too?" Ms Freedman asked in the article.
Her top formulas included Latisse for £60, Adonia's LashAlive Serum at £49 and for high street bargain value, L'Oreal's Renewal Lash Serum at £10.99.
She finished up by recommending dipping a cotton bud into extra-virgin olive oil and swooping over eyes before bed, which will create a stronger flutter and will work wonders with the lengthening mascaras too.
Avon is also due to launch a new mascara with a show-stopping 1,000 bristles that is sure to cause a stir in the eyelash marketplace later this summer.
