Professional make-up artists offered inspiration by British Fashion Awards
Professional make-up artists offered inspiration by British Fashion Awards The recent British Fashion Awards attracted a host of celebrities, whose choice of hairstyle, clothing and make-up offered some inspiration for those with make-up artist jobs.

This week, the industry event was attended by Victoria Beckham, Kelly Brook, Naomi Campbell and Samantha Cameron, amongst others.

Ms Beckham led the way in a black dress from her own spring/summer 2011 collection. The dress was embellished on the shoulder and had a daring thigh high split.

The former Spice Girl wore her hair loosely swept back and opted for a nude, shiny lipgloss, pink blusher and dark eye make-up, which may have been created by a professional make-up artist.

Model Kelly Brook followed the underwear as outwear trend in her Suzie Turner bustier dress.

The black gown showed off her trim things and attractive heeled sandals. Ms Brook's hair seemed to reflect Farrah Fawcett with its bounce and gloss, while her eye make-up was grey and lips natural-looking. She livened up the outfit with bright red nails.

Samantha Cameron looked more demure in a belted, floor length gown and minimal make-up.

The event saw Lara Stone being given the Model of the Year award, Naomi Campbell getting the Special Recognition Prize for her long career in fashion and the British Style Award going to Alexa Chung.
