Amrita Arora, a Bollywood actress, has told Wonder Woman magazine that the key way to accomplish glamour is actually to avoid the caked-on effect.

The key combination of products are a transparent mascara, a pretty blush and strawberry lipbalm, she has claimed, as these are sometimes all that is needed to create that fantastic look.

"If it's an evening do, go heavy on the mascara and kajal, use a darker blush and a long-stay gloss for your lips," she suggested.

Applying an oil-free moisturiser as a base and using illuminator to create a fantastic looking glow can also be a very effective tactic for professional make-up artists.

Bruce Grayson, make up artist, recently told AHLAN! Live that rotating the face before applying cosmetics can be a great way to get a feel for the face and to identify areas that should be accentuated.
