Desert-inspired colours and tones will be on trend this summer thanks to professional make-up artists.
Vogue has predicted that exotic looks will be fashionable after safari chic was a dominant theme at key spring/summer shows like Burberry, Alexander Wang and Celine.
Professional make-up artist Tom Pecheux and his team created four different looks inspired by deserts around the globe for Catherine Malandrino's collection and Lisa Eldridge went for a "post-apocalyptic" look at Todd Lynn.
"So, for this season, the must-have products comprise a very wearable palette of burnt oranges, dusky corals and warm bronzes," the magazine suggested.
It recommended Estee Lauder's Michael Kors Eye Shadow Duo in Blonde Mink and Soleil Tan de Chanel Moisturising Bronzing Powder in Desert Bronze.
Sinead Van Kampen, writing for the Irish Independent, has said that Chanel's summer make-up collection is "joyful", featuring palettes of candy pop colours and a nod to last season's nude trend with soft and refined shades.
