Professional make-up artists: Stars hit Elle Style Awards
Professional make-up artists: Stars hit Elle Style Awards A number of stars dressed to impress at the recent Elle Style Awards, offered inspiration to those with make-up artist jobs.

Cheryl Cole turned up on the evening in a low-cut red Alexander McQueen dress. She also wore matching lipstick, bronzer, dark eye make-up and what appeared to be false eyelashes.

Also at the February 14th event was Gossip Girl Blake Lively, who chose a long, layered Emilio Pucci dress in a vivid shade of blue that had cut out detailing on the front.

Alexa Chung opted for a vintage-look YSL dress with a black pattern on a blue background and brown detailing. Ms Chung wore her grown-out bob down and parted down the centre, those with make-up artist jobs will be interested to hear.

Meanwhile Harry Potter star Emma Watson wore a pinkish grey Hakaan mini dress with matching heels. She had her short hair swept into a side parting and wore heavy eye make-up.

In addition, Ms Watson last year told Metro that she covers the inner rims of her lower lashes with white eyeliner to make them look larger.
