Those with professional make up artist jobs will be interested to hear that one news source has named the top trends from Autumn/Winter 2011 shows.
The Daily Telegraph said that these shows were all about asymmetric hemlines, with one Thakoon model wearing a yellow and black patterned skirt which showed off a pair of silver heels. She also sported a black, zipped jacket, wore vivid red eye make up and had her hair pulled tightly back.
In addition, the news source highlighted the trend for silk pyjama prints. A model for Tommy Hilfiger wore black and white patterned pants with blue and yellow stripes and a loose black and white silk shirt with yellow detailing. The model also wore a hint of blusher and minimal make up.
Over at DVF, a model hit the runway wearing a heart patterned all in one, which was cinched in at the waist with a black belt and accompanied with a heavy black coat draped over the shoulders. She also wore oversized sunglasses and a flash of red lipstick to brighten up the ensemble.
In addition, those with make up artist jobs have been told that Victoria Beckham has recently taken her Autumn/Winter 2011-12 collection to New York Fashion Week.
