Professional makeup artists: Go for a natural look
Professional makeup artists: Go for a natural look Those with makeup artist jobs may want to try this season's trend for natural-looking faces on clients.

According to Allure magazine, natural makeup always comes back into fashion and is again this winter.

Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath told the beauty bible that an update to this look comes in the form of a liberal application of blusher.

Providing examples of the natural look, the makeup guru mentioned models at the recent Balenciaga show, who were given an androgynous style.

Their nearly nude makeup was created with lightweight foundation and matte beige shadow on eyelids. The magazine recommended Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Cafe Au Lait - finished off with gold cream.

When it came to lips, the models mouths were just given a light subtle smear of balm so that all the attention went to the cheeks. The look was complimented by scraped back hair.

In addition, Ms McGrath told makeup artists that the monotone look is her favourite style. This look is all about a natural face with a single colour applied to eyelids, Thestar.com reported.
