Purple trend made wearable by professional make-up artist
Purple trend made wearable by professional make-up artist Purple is set to be a huge colour for 2010, especially after professional make-up artist Pat McGrath used the shade on the models in the spring/summer Versace show.

Jessica Hogan, writing for Vogue magazine, said that Ms McGrath's take on the lilac trend was transferrable to everyday looks, making it accessible to the general public.

"Pat McGrath buffed a gentle wash of lilac on the eyes, all the way up to the brows, with a slick of the same coloured liner along the upper lash line for added definition," Ms Hogan explained.

She highlighted that the professional make-up artist also kept the rest of the face natural and bronzed for this look, which she described as the "perfect spring canvas".

Ms McGrath was among a number of professional hair stylists and make-up artists to incorporate purple into models' looks, with the girls at Proenza Schouler sporting violet extensions and Dior's models showing off strong lavender eye shadow.

Stylist magazine recently identified that candy colours were a big feature of the spring/summer catwalk shows.ADNFCR-2992-ID-19604278-ADNFCR
