Scarlett Johansson has paid tribute to the professional make-up artists and hair stylists that tend to her, saying she looks like a "schmoe" until they have worked their magic.
The actress is widely considered to be one of the stunning beauties of Hollywood, but the 25-year-old insists that the talents of professional make-up artists play a big part in her looks.
"Working with these incredible hair and makeup teams, you go in looking like a schmoe, and you come out like a movie star," she told V Magazine.
She said that no one ever sees what goes into creating the fabulous looks sported by celebrities.
"You go through the works, and then you're like this perfectly prepared sausage," she told the magazine.
The actress is the face of Dolce and Gabbana and recently shot ads for the fashion house's new make-up collection. Professional make-up artist Pat McGrath and stylist Oribe created her look for the campaign.
