Top haircare trends for A/W 2010
The A/W style will take minimal effort and styling. When it comes to the latest rules, professional hair stylists have been told that, in order to be on trend, less is more for the autumn/winter season.

Elle has reported that, when it comes to the catwalk, there may be only a few A/W 2010 trends to choose from, "but boy, do they pack a punch".

The looks to warrant a mention are the tactile texture style, which basically consists of a fishtail braid plaited to one side and then the top part of the hair is backcombed and blow-dried into a wavy/wild 'do on top.

Other styles include the grunge look, which features a deep side parting and greased-down hair, the thick fringe (look to Katy Perry's latest chop for inspiration) and finally the high ponytail, with the hair wrapped around the bobble.

The news provider told professional hair stylists: "Despite their association with school days, the ponytail for A/W 2010 is either sleek and modern, or super sexy and grown-up."
