Trends will take on youthfulness, says professional hair stylist
Trends will take on youthfulness, says professional hair stylist Canadian coiffeur Tony Masciangelo, who has worked with celebrities and supermodels throughout his career, told Canwest News Service: "Fashion-forward hair is making a statement."

The professional hair stylist said the designers are having more fun with fashion, using colour and textures, so hair is set to take on this playful feel as well.

Accessories are also set to play a major part in fashions due to this youthfulness. Mr Masciangelo pointed to the likes of the Prada shows, which have featured pigtails.

"We see a lot of headbands in many soft colours such as rose, nude and salmon," the professional hair stylist told the news provider.

Currently, trends are still leaning towards "simple and wearable" silhouettes with soft and sexy finishes, he said.

Jonathan Soons, art team director at leading salon chain Headmasters, recently told My Fashion Life that that spring will mark a return to the 90s with short cuts and bobs becoming popular.
