Very berry 'is the shade for autumn'
Very berry 'is the shade for autumn' Professional makeup artists have been told that if they're looking for a new trend to bank on, it's the very berry lip.

According to Georgia Collins, writing for Elle UK, there is a "plethora" of shades currently on the market and some of the big names in the business such as Charles Anastase and Issa are showing us how it's done.

"Whether ultra glossy or chalky and matte burgundy, blackcurrant and bordeaux are the colours to shop this autumn," she asserted.

"Pair with tousled hair and a laidback attitude for the ultimate A/W statement."

There is also a huge variety when it comes to the shade itself, whether you go for aubergines, blood red or charred purple and then there's the option of matte, glossy or simple stain.

Such a dark colour might not suit all clients, so for those looking for a lighter shade, apricot and raspberry lips are also set to be on trend come A/W 2010 too.
